Sych, Adam M., 61, of Galloway Twp., went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2012. Adam was born in Poland on July 24, 1951. He came to the United States in 1964 and settled in New Jersey. Adam was a baker by trade and his passion was in the hotel and restaurant business. He owned the Pitney Tavern in Galloway, until his retirement in 1997. After retiring, he enjoyed flea markets, boating, fishing, cooking for family and friends and building and fixing things in his shed. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, good friends and his devoted partner, Marlene, with whom he lived.
Adam was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret Sych. He is survived by Marlene Halvorson; his children, Cosima (Patrick), Adam (Jen) and Matthew and there mother, Wendy Zimbardi; his grandchildren, Kayla, Julia, Rylee, Anastin and Evan; his brothers, Manfred (Dagmar) and Frank Sych; his nephews, Dennis (June) and FrankAdam; and his best friend, Robert Hope.
Adam has many family and friends here in the states, Poland and Germany, who he will be sadly missed by. Adam was a kind and generous man with a big heart, who will be missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be 12PM to 2PM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will take place at 2PM. Burial will follow at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Township. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
