Obituary For Albert Most
Albert Most, 86, of Absecon, passed away January 15, 2025. Born in Newark, he lived there for 5 years, then moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY until the age of 12. He then moved to Atlantic City and also lived in Ventnor before moving to Absecon in 1966, after he married his wife, Carol. He graduated from Atlantic City High School, class of 1956. He joined the US Army in September of 1956 and served 3 years, 2 of which were in Europe – Germany and France. He became a radar and missile tech while in the service. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1959. He began his career with the FAA in January of 1960 as an electronics technician, attending various FAA trainings. He completed 36 years of service with the FAA before retirement. In his free time, he served on the Board of Health for the City of Absecon, was a member and chairman of the Absecon Planning Board, was a member of the Absecon Jaycees and served as a union representative with PASS. He had received numerous awards and certificates of merit from the FAA and the Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Kirschmann) Most; his three wonderful children, Steven Most (Iva), Debra Fox Brunett (Richard Brunett) and Michael Most; his siblings, Anita Russo and Robert Alexander; his grandchildren, Selina Johnson (Chris), Carol Simon (Alex), Matthew Fox and Nicole Fox; and his great-grandchildren, Christian Johnson, Riann Johnson and Nikolao Simon.
Visitation will be 12:30PM to 1:30PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A graveside service will follow at Emeth Sholom Cemetery, 6691 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AtlantiCare Cancer Center.
