Anne Marie (Nancy) Bucci

Anne Marie (Nancy) Bucci (nee-Givens), 82, of Boca Raton, FL., passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Nancy was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on September 8, 1940 to Anna Roehm and William Givens Sr. Nancy was married for 47 years to Richard (Dick/Buckeye) Bucci on September 26, 1959, who passed away on December 17, 2006. She previously worked as a cashier for A&P and Thriftway. Nancy moved to Florida in 2010, something she had tried to get her husband to do for years, to no avail. She and Dick traveled over the years to Europe, Hawaii, Las Vegas and the Bahamas. She loved the slots, Elvis, Barbara Streisand, Game Shows, playing cards with friends, going out to eat and going to the movies. Known for her quick wit, she loved making people laugh and enjoyed laughing herself.

She is predeceased by her parents, Anna and William; her Stepfather, John Curtis and her brothers, William (MaryAnn) Givens Jr. and Paul (Bettie) Givens. She is survived by her children, Suzanne (William) Lapenz, Richard (Jodi Leggio) Bucci and Theresa (Jerry Mong) Bucci; her brother, John (Lolly) Curtis III and sister, Linda Curtis; grandchildren; William Lapenz III, Montana Warford and Jayden Mong and step granddaughter, Ryleigh Leggio; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gathering will be 9:45AM to 10:45AM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will be offered at 11AM. Burial will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
