Anne Remington Leopold, 87, of Absecon, NJ, died peacefully on October 12, 2013. She was born in Bronxville, NY, and graduated from Bronxville High School in 1944. She attended Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, where she became a Sara Williston Scholar for academic excellence. In 1947, Anne married Corydon Wyman of Bronxville. They resided in Lexington, MA where they brought up their three children, Ted, Chuck, and Priscilla. As a young mother, Anne did volunteer work for the PTA, Youth Baseball, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts. She sang in the Congregational Church Choir. The majority of her working years were devoted to all aspects of accounting in both federal and private industry. She lived in the Boston area for over 50 years and grew to love New England. She adored her family, cocker spaniels, many friends, and being near the ocean. Anne moved to New Jersey in 1996 to be near her daughter, Priscilla. In 1998, Anne married Wesley B. Leopold. They resided in Smithville and were loyal members of the Absecon Presbyterian Church.
She is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Harry Littlejohn. She is survived by her husband Wesley as well as her children, Ted (Julia) Wyman of Wayne, NJ, Chuck (Debra H.) Wyman of Sanbornton, NH and Priscilla Schultheis of Absecon; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles H. (Joan) Remington; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Anthony) Wyman Pacific, Corydon B. Wyman, Margaret (Jeff) Wyman Robidoux, Francis C. Schultheis, Andrew C. Wyman, Jayd L. Wyman and Ava May Wyman; and her great-grandson John L. Robidoux.
Visitation will be 9AM to 11AM, Saturday, October 19, 2013 with a service following at 11AM at Absecon Presbyterian Church, 208 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, on the church grounds. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
