Barbara Colarusso

Colarusso, Barbara, passed away July 29, 2016 at home, after a battle with colon cancer. She was born in Nashua, NH on May 8, 1937 to Robert Spellman and Alice (Tamulonis) Spellman. Barbara grew up and was educated in Nashua and worked for several years for Nashua Corporation in the office. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe. In 1971 she married Joseph Colarusso and they resided for many years in Salem, NH, prior to moving to Absecon, NJ in 1996, to enjoy retirement. They particularly loved going to Atlantic City. She became the widow of Joseph Colarusso, who passed away in 2010. Barbara is survived by cousins, Martha Horton of Center Barnstead, NH and Paula McNiff of Chelmsford, MA; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Many thanks to Holy Redeemer Hospice, as well as Visiting Angels, who made it possible for Barbara to remain in her home. Local arrangements were through Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon. Barbara will be buried back in New Hampshire next to her husband and parents, in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Hudson, NH, at a later date this month.
