Moore, Barbara J., 75, on November 23,2022 went home to be with the Lord. Barbara was born January 19,1947 in Ocean City NJ. Barbara was the 5th child born to her mother. She grew up in Ocean City NJ and graduated from Ocean City High School in 1965. After graduation, she married David Prescott. Later she worked for the Housing Authority in Atlantic City NJ alongside her husband, David. Barbara later divorced and moved to Philadelphia where she found employment and settled down in Upper Darby PA, until she became sick from a bus accident which left her unable to care for herself. Barbara was very smart and wise she was into politics and wanted better for the youth.

Barbara was predeceased by her mom, Juanita Tennant (Cal); her father, Jessie Moore Sr. (Juanita Moore); David Pugh, George Fountain (Rita), Betty Buckman, MaryJane Solomon and her aunt, Evelyn Taylor (Dolly). She is survived by her 5 brothers, Jessie Moore Jr., John Moore Sr., Robert Lee Moore (Pat), Willie Carl Tennant Sr. (Stella), James Thomas Tennant, Alonzo C. Tennant (Stephanie); her 2 sisters, Vanessa C. Phillips (Kevin) and Dawn L. Tennant. Barbara loved her visits from her Cuz'n Kippy & Hannah Barnette. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, cuz’n and friends. Barbara Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
