Barry Thomas Gassen

Barry Thomas Gassen Sr, age 59, of Brigantine, NJ, passed away October 17, 2016. Born in Norristown, he lived in Bridgeport, King of Prussia and Atlantic City before moving to Brigantine 5 years ago. Barry was a self-employed painter, working in the Norristown area for many years. Prior to working as a painter, he was a truck driver with West Trucking in Boyertown, PA. He was an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia. In his free time, he loved playing poker and the slot machines at the casinos.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Gassen; and his brothers, Vincent and Chad Gassen. He is survived by his children, Barry (Joelle) Gassen, Jr., Christopher Gassen, Kelly (Joe) Chermansky and Dash Gassen; his mother, Rose Marie (Busciacco) Gassen; his brothers and sister, Bruce Gassen, Brad Gassen, Brian Gassen and Beverly Gassen; and 8 grandchildren.
