Alibeth Betty Jerue, (nee Molner-Brown), 89, of Absecon, went to be with the Lord, December 22, 2013, after a short illness. Betty worked at the Egg Harbor Township town hall for the court system and public works department before her retirement. She also worked at the train station in Atlantic City as a waitress in her younger years. She was also a volunteer for Red Cross.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Brown (nee Thomas); her first and second husband, Harold Jerue and Alexander (Mo) Molner; her brothers and sister, James, Robert, William, Dave, Richard and Ruth. She is survived by her nephews, Stanley Carr (Betty), Charles Carr (Barbara) and Jeff Carr; her step-son Robert (Lucy) Jurue; her step-grandchildren, Paul and Stephen; and many other nieces and nephews, as well as her church family.
A memorial service will be 11AM, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Absecon Presbyterian Church. A gathering will be from 10:30AM to 11AM.
