Obituary For Carolina Banto
Carolina (Leva) Banto, 79, of Absecon, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side on March 5, 2025. Born in Solofra, Italy. She moved to Argentina in her 20’s where she met her husband Desiderio. They came to this country in 1971 and have lived and raised their family in Absecon for 50 years. Carolina had a light and energy that touched everyone who met her.
Carolina is predeceased by her husband, Desiderio; her parents, Guiseppina and Vincenzo; four sisters, one brother and eldest son, Claudio Banto. She is survived by her children, Nestor Banto, Monica (Thomas) Babecki, and Teresa Banto; her sister, Vincenzina (Alfred and Lisa) Alvino; her grandchildren, Chaz Banto, Jessica Banto, Brandon Banto, Nicole (Matthew) Collins, Tommy Babecki, Michael Licari, Eddie Babecki, and Claudia Banto; her first great-grandchild Mason Collins; her many cousins, nieces, and nephews in Argentina and Italy.
