Cassie V. Smith

Cassie V. Smith, 79, of Galloway, passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2014. Born in Toledo, OH, she was a long time resident of Galloway Twp. She was a licensed practical nurse who retired from Shore Memorial Hospital. She also was a member of the Galloway Twp. Ambulance Squad, during the 1970’s. She enjoyed rubber stamping, creating greeting cards for her family and friends, sewing and knitting.

She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth P. Smith; her parents, Victor and Lenora (nee Merrill) Rowley; her sister and brother, Jeannette Goeschel and Lawrence Rowley; and her step-son, Kenneth J. Smith. She is survived by her daughers, Mary (Royal) Kerr and Deborah Edson; her step-son, James Smith; her grandchildren, Megan Kerr and William Edson; her step-grandchildren, Tanya, Nicole, Darin, Michael and Kelly; her nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren; as well as her two special friends, Joan Winand and Normandie Schell.
