Catherine M. Petrick

Petrick, Catherine M., 55, of Northfield. Cathy did not lose her battle with cancer. Instead, she spent 4 years inspiring everyone she encountered with strength, integrity and courage- in many ways, she won. Her body could no longer contain her spirit- she departed this world on April 15th. Born in Atlantic City, a lifelong resident of Atlantic County, Cathy spent most of her life in Absecon and Northfield. Beloved wife to Thomas Sr., mother to Brian (Bowles), Tommy, D.J., Matthew, and Danielle; sister to Sue Clouser and Ronny & Billy Lake; loving niece and everyone’s favorite aunt; Cathy is predeceased by her sister Sandy, parents William & Carole Bowles, and mother-in-law Mary Petrick.

Cathy loved gardening, backyard BBQs, spoiling her kids, and speaking her mind. She enjoyed HGTV, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and loved her animals, cooking, and spending time with her friends. Her second family included her bosses, coworkers and customers at East Bay Crab & Grille where she was a server for 15 years: you were all very important to her.

Services will be 10AM to 12PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Parsels Funeral Home in Absecon with burial to follow at Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville. A celebration luncheon will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in EHT from 1:30-3pm.
