Obituary For Charles B. Auchter
Charles B. Auchter, 85, of Absecon passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Atlantic City and was a longtime resident of Absecon. Mr. Auchter was a home builder, having constructed many homes in the area. He was also an administrator for the United States Postal Service in Bellmawr for 36 years before retiring in 1992. He was a US Coast Guard veteran, and enjoyed restoring antique cars, particularly 1955 Fords. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Auchter and his son-in-law Bill Malamut. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Vivian (Keck) Auchter; his children, Charles M. Auchter, Vivian Malamut, and Tammy Molino and her husband Anthony; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Ava and Elizabeth; and by his sister, Regina Wilden. Visitation will be 9AM to 10:30AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon.
