Charles Nelson Charters

Charles Nelson Charters, 78, of Gainesville, GA, was born in Somerville, NJ on June 21, 1936 to mother Luviena Charters (Anthony) & father William Nelson Charters. He was a graduate of Netcong High School, class of 1956, attended Commercial Trades Institute, 1961-62 and RETS Electronics School, 1964. He retired from Motorola in Philadelphia & Absecon and also worked for Racing Electronics.

He was predeceased by his parents and son Donald Nelson Charters. He is survived by his wife, Bunice Charters of Gainesville, GA, his three daughters, Nancy Turner and husband Ron Turner, Betty Truman and husband David Truman and Cindy Pharo, his first wife and mother of his children H. Jeanne Charters of Egg Harbor, NJ. He has 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The services will be held at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ. The viewing will be Wednesday night, March 25 from 6:00-8:00 pm and March 26 at 10:00 am with the service at 11:00 am. Charley will be laid to rest at Germania Cemetery in Galloway Twp. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Germania Fire House after the services.
