Charles R. Helder

Charles R. Helder, Sr., 62, of Egg Harbor Twp., Passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in Pleasantville, he has lived in Egg Harbor Township for many years. He worked as an HVAC engineer for the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City for 19 years, retiring in 2008, prior to that he worked with Atlantic City Medical Center as a boiler room engineer. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved all the Philadelphia sports teams.

He is predeceased by his mother, Maime Helder; and his sister, Shirley Helder. He is survived by his children, Stacey (Anthony Torriero) Helder of Philadelphia and Charles R. (Kimberly) Helder, Jr., of Egg Harbor Township; his father, Charles Helder; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Nicholas, Christina and Stephanie.

Visitation will be 9:30AM to 11AM, Thursday April 25, 2013 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A graveside service will follow at Absecon Methodist Church Cemetery, 100 Pitney Road, Absecon.
