Obituary For Chase Charles Gustein
In loving memory of Chase Charles Gustein, who passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2024 at the age of 38 years old. He was a tenacious self-starter who was full of energy and life and will be profoundly missed by his sibling, Michelle ‘Gustein’ Wolverton and children Chase Gustein II and Ava Smith. He was predeceased by his parents, Cynthia Shrager-Gustein and Allan Gustein, and his sibling, Ashley Gustein.
Chase was born in Atlantic City, NJ and grew up with his family in Margate, Mays Landing, and Dorothy. Growing up, he was inseparable with his sister, Ashley, and they were often referred to as the “dynamic duo”. He was always interested in taking things apart and putting them back together and used these skills throughout his life and career. You could usually find him in the garage tinkering with a car or some type of gadget, bike, or go-cart. He started his career doing the same while building his skills and passion for technology, which eventually became his focus. He had an entrepreneurial spirit like his parents and started several companies, the latest working with technology in residential and commercial settings. He loved his children more than anything else and you could usually find Baby Chase by his dad’s side hanging out and having fun. Chase was kind, passionate about his beliefs, a pet lover, loyal, and never gave up no matter what challenges came his way. He had a tattoo with a quote that echoes his essence through any challenge he faced, “Only the Strong Will Survive”.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Please visit www.parselsfh.com to share stories, photos, and memories to celebrate Chase’s life.
