Christine L. Law

LAW, CHRISTINE L. 94, of Smithville, passed away at home on September 16, 2014. She was born on November 10, 1919, in Auburn, PA. She moved to Atlantic City in 1948 where she met her husband. They raised their family in Pleasantville, later moving to Absecon. Retiring from NAFEC in the 1980’s, she went to work at Frank’s Jewelers at the Shore Mall for many years, where she enjoyed every day she spent there. She was active in many civic organizations including the Pleasantville Lions Club and the Northfield and Pleasantville American Legion Auxiliaries.

She is predeceased by her husband George W. Law, her grandson Bruce George Brandt and her four siblings Margaret, Jeanette, Jim and Ronnie. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Donna and Richard Brandt with whom she resided in Smithville, her son and daughter-in-law Peter and Donna Law of Pompano Beach, FL, her grandchildren Lisa (Jack) Taggart, Lori Frezer, Jill (Michael) Vito and Charles (Tara) Brandt. She was blessed with great-grandchildren Tyler, Karli, Alex, Haley, Aidan, Elizabeth, Alec, Sarah and Chloe who brought her much joy in her final years.

Services will be held on Friday, September 19, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 146 South Pitney Road, Galloway, beginning at 9:30AM, with Visitation followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Burial will be private.
