Garman Sr., Daniel, 54, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 8th, 2017. Born in Camden, he graduated from Arthur P. Schalick High School in 1981. He moved locally to Atlantic County where he met his wife, Chrissy and they had two children together. In his earlier years, he worked for sign companies such as Cutler and Riley where he made his mark on multiple AC casinos. He later laid his hands in the construction industry where he found a niche of building something from nothing. He went on to start his own company in 2002, called Dan the Handyman to which he continued to grow until his passing. Dan enjoyed fishing, working on his motorcycle, attending ATCO Dragway, antique car shows and anything that involved learning history. We believe his most favorite hobby of all was spending time with his four grandchildren. He loved them dearly and although they are so young, there is no doubt that they will always remember their fun times with Pop Pop. In 2009, Dan became a member of Mainland Baptist Church in Galloway where he soon became a follower of Christ and later was baptized. He will forever be remembered for his humor, silly faces, his many years of hard work and his ability to fall asleep within 5 minutes absolutely anywhere. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christine Garman; son Daniel Garman Jr. (Alex) of EHT; daughter Samantha Garman of EHT; daughter Jennifer Kinch (Thomas) of Somers Point; daughter Kristina Johnson of EHT; daughter Amanda Munsick of Merchantville; daughter Laura Giordano of Elmer; four loving grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, Joey and Sebastian; mother Marylou Evans (Lenny) of Berlin and many family members and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Louis Garman. A gathering will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at Mainland Baptist Church located at 512 S. Pitney Road, Galloway, followed by a memorial service at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses during this very difficult time. Contributions may be sent to: Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon NJ 08201. Attn: Funeral of D. Garman. For online condolences or directions, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
