Obituary For David V. Wescott, Jr.
David V. Wescott, Jr., 70, of Absecon, passed away January 27, 2023. Born in Fort Benning, GA, he's been a long time resident of Absecon. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp., serving during the Vietnam Era. David was a chef in the casinos for many years before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Loreta (nee Barrato) Wescott; his children, Sue Ellen and her husband Kalilou and David and his wife Megan; his brothers, Bruce and Kenny; and his grandchildren, Abdoulaye, Moise, Janelle, Kalilou Jr., Troy, Riley, Amy, Ramsey, and Lucca. Visitation will be 10AM to 11AM on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Mainland Baptist Church, 512 Pitney Rd., in Galloway. A service will begin immediately at 11AM. Burial services will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com
