Dorothy J. Hammell

Hammell, Dorothy J. (Meloney), 88, of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2017. She was born in Galloway and has remained a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School. Dorothy was a pottery worker at Lenox China for many years before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed and also was an accomplished bowler.

She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Stanley E. Hammell; her son, Walter E. Hammell; and her sisters, Florence (Meloney) Hamilton and Mae (Meloney) Zager. She is survived by her children, Stanley E. (Rosanne) Hammell, Jr., Daniel M. (Susan) Hammell and Trudy (Michael) Hammell Festa; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
