Douglas Maxwell

Douglas Maxwell, 53, of Atlantic City, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home. Born in Atlantic City, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Maxwell was an accomplished chef, working for Caesars Casino for 15 years and working the last several years for Café 2825, also in Atlantic City. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and wresting fan. He also enjoyed art, especially drawing, as a hobby.

He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Maxwell; and his brother, Kenneth (Sonny) Maxwell. He is survived by his daughters, Helene and Christine Maxwell; his granddaughter, Robin Carmona and his ‘on the way’ grandson, Aiden Maxwell; his Brother, Andrew Maxwell; and his sisters, Sheila Fabi, Stephanie (John) Stinsman and Janet (Joe) Fitzpatrick.

A gathering will be 12:30PM to 1PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A memorial service will follow immediately at 1PM. Interment will be private. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
