Duncan K. Barney

Barney, Duncan K., 60 of Absecon, NJ. It is with a heavy heart and deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Duncan Barney, a beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Duncan passed on Saturday, November 4, 2023, after a long battle with liver disease. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his wife and son. Born May 12, 1963, Duncan’s life was filled with love, compassion, and hard work. Throughout his 60 years, Duncan was a truly kind and compassionate man and treated everyone he encountered with respect. Duncan worked for Atlantic City Electric as a lineman until he retired in 2020.

Duncan dearly loved his family and was loved in return. He shared 37 years with his beloved wife Kathleen (Brennan) Barney. Together they raised their son Andrew Barney. Services will be private. Online condolences, may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.
