Edward R. Boucher, 82, of Absecon, loving husband of Dolores, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Lowell, MA, he was a resident of Absecon for over 50 years. He was graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, MA and relocated to Absecon, retiring from NAFEC as a computer systems analyst. He was also a graduate of Massachusetts Barber School. In his youth, he was a catcher with the Flying Siegrist Trapeze Act and traveled through the southern states and Central America. Before moving to Absecon, he was employed by MIT Lincoln Lab in Lexington, MA. He was past president of Absecon Jaycees, a loyal member of the Pomona Golf Club and a founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He and his wife were often seen taking walks arm in arm in Absecon. They also enjoyed extensive travel, with a special fondness for Spain.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother Raymond, he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Dolores, daughters, Michele Pool and Lisa Boucher (David) McCall, both of Oregon, granddaughter, Danielle and 4 great-grandchildren, of Las Vegas, a sister, Doris Siergiewicz, of New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6PM to 9Pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon and again from 8:45AM to 9:45AM Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, where a funeral mass will follow at 10AM.
