Bartuccio, Elaine J. (nee Iulianetti), 76, passed away December 13, 2021. She was born October 12, 1945 in Hammonton, she was a life-time resident of Cedar Brook. She was predeceased by her parents, Justin and Jennie. She’s survived by her beloved sister, Nancy (Dennis) Donio of Hammonton. She was the loving mother of Elayne (Joseph) Hill of West Berlin, and Anthony M. Bartuccio of Cedar Brook. Elaine graduated from Saint Joseph’s High School, in Hammonton, in 1963. She attended, and graduated from, Wilfred Beauty Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture Inc. in Philadelphia for Cosmetology, right after graduating High School. She started working in a hair salon in Voorhees, doing hair, until they closed. She then worked at other hair salons. She was so good at it that she ended up owning her own salon in Ocean City. In the 1990’s she decided to be a freelance hair and makeup artist, and did the hair and makeup for various casino shows, such as The Rat Pack. She once did Merv Griffin’s hair, and he liked her work so much that he would recommend her to some of the celebrities who were performing at Resorts. Also in the 1990’s, she did hair and makeup for various print, and television advertisements. Her portfolio also contained various brides, and young ladies going to proms or special dances. She loved making people look and feel beautiful…and was very talented at it. She had a green thumb, and could get any plant to bloom or flourish. She was a magnificent cook and baker. Her salad dressing was better than any bottled salad dressing. She would make whiskey cakes for her customers at the Holidays, and her Cranberry Nut Bread was better than anything you could buy at a store. Services are private with Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon.
