Elizabeth Creaghe (Crane), of Galloway, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her home. She was born in December 1933 in Ocean City, NJ and grew up in the inlet section of Atlantic City. She graduated in 1952 and later was employed at Capt. Starns Restaurant for 20 years and for a time at the Lido Restaurant. She also worked at several other area businesses. Her last job was Stockton College where she was a beloved sandwich maker for 16 years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, airplane rides and many good times. She was a sweet lady but to those of us who knew her best, also knew her sassy side and we loved her more for it.
She was the great-granddaughter of the late Harry Vannuckson Shourds. She was also predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles and her grandson, Robert Spier. She leaves behind her 3 daughters, Kathleen Spier (Sinbad), of Galloway, Donna Mangeri of South Seaville and Dawn Clementz (Brett) of Millville; 4 grandchildren, Angel Spier, Danna Stewart, Briana Rapattoni and Alyssa Mangeri; 3 great-grandchildren, as well as her fuzzy grands and her sister, Linda Cusac of Egg Harbor Twp.
