Elizabeth L. Horvath

Elizabeth L. Horvath, 92, of Absecon, passed away December 13, 2016. She was born in Courtdale, PA to the late Ignatius and Stephania (Beatoff) Pavill. Elizabeth was a graduate of Wyoming Valley Homeopathic School of Nursing in Wilkes Barre, PA. She married her husband, the late Joseph F. Horvath, in Allentown, PA. They later moved to Absecon where she has lived for over 60 years. She was a former member of Church of the Assumption Parish in Pomona, where she was active in the church social committee. She was also one of the original members of the Assumption School PTA. She later became a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Absecon. While living in Absecon, she was a member of the Stock Club and also the Social Card Club.

She is survived by her children, Joanne Deibert, Stephen Horvath, Joseph Horvath (Elizabeth) and Suzanne Horvath; her sister, Josephine Oravitz; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services were held privately for Mrs. Horvath under the direction of Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon. We would like to thank the staff of Meadowview Nursing Home for the loving care they extended to our mother over the past two years.
