Emil C. Nardi, 81, of Absecon, passed away April 2, 2013. Born in Camden, NJ, he’s lived in Haddon Heights, Marlton and Brigantine, before moving to Absecon 8 years ago. During his career, Mr. Nardi was an assistant manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and was also an instructor at the South Jersey Professional School of Business in Marlton. He was an army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon and a member of the Anglers Pier of Margate Fishing Club. While living in Haddon Heights, he had an active role in politics and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, where he was past president of the parish counsel.

He is predeceased by his parents, Emil and Rose Nardi; his sisters, Marie Malloy and Carolyn Nardi; and his brother, Dr. Michael Nardi. He is survived by his wife, Helen E. (nee Graber) Nardi; his sons, Emil P., Paul and his wife Sally, Daniel and Russell (Rusty) and his wife Sherin; his grandchildren, Casey Weisdock, Christian and his wife Lindsey, Shawn, Amy, Nicole, Dani-Marie, RJ and Vincent; his great-grandchildren, Emilia and Lucas; his aunt, Grace Nardi; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Dan and Patti Adams.

Visitation will be 9:45AM to 10:45AM, Saturday, April 6,2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will follow at 11AM in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. The family requests no flowers.
