Ernest A. Baldwin

Baldwin, Ernest A. 83, of Galloway, passed away May 17, 2021 at home. Born and raised in Pleasantville, he has lived in Galloway for the past 30 years. He is a US Navy veteran, serving from 1955-1958. Ernest worked for the Pleasantville Police Department and retired as a lieutenant in 1984. He also worked for Bally’s Casino as a security guard, retiring in 2012 after 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and yardwork and was a big Phillies and Eagles fan.

He is predeceased by his wife, Carole L. Baldwin; his daughter, Sharon Baldwin; and his brother, Paul Baldwin. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Mason, Linda Mason and Debra Lucca (Frank); his sons, William McBride (Diane), Timothy McBride (Denise) and Allen McBride, Jr. (Erica); his sister, Adela Hughes; and his 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow immediately at 1PM. Interment will be at Mt.
