Eugene A. Graves

Graves, Eugene A. (Gene) age 75 of Galloway passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017. Born in Detroit, MI, he grew in Middleburg Hgts. Ohio. Gene had a wonderful and varied career in business management, starting with American Greetings Corp. soon after his discharge from the Navy in 1962. A transfer took the family to North Carolina for 3 years and finally to Medford, N.J. in 1976. Gene ended his career with his own business as a business consultant. Gene enjoyed playing pool, riding his Harley and golfing until vision problems made it too difficult.

Gene is predeceased by his parents and his sister Susan Normoyle.

He is survived by Linda, his loving wife of almost 49 years, his wonderful daughter Gina Mattioli, and treasured grandchildren Billie Nicole, Nicholas Gene, and Sydnee Jade. He is also survived by his brother, Gordon Graves and his wife Phyllis. He loved us all so very much.

Genes’ final year was spent at Spring Village in Galloway assisted living where he was very content and received such loving care. Grace Hospice was involved in Genes’ care for the past several months. They are truly very special people, and will always have a place in my heart.

Interment will be private at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery.
