Evelyn Marie Brandenberger (nee Poley), 79, of Galloway, went home to be with the Lord and with her husband Junior, Monday, January 23, 2012. Born in Farmington, she lived in Atlantic City for several years before moving to Galloway 40 years ago. While living in Atlantic City, she and her husband Junior were involved in the family business, Branderberger’s Service Center, in Venice Park. She loved worshipping her lord and attended Mainland Baptist Church in Galloway. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Al-Time Grotto in Egg Harbor Township. She lived for her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Percy (Junior) Brandenberger; her parents, Clarence and Sophie (nee Robbins) Poley; her brothers, Harry and Joseph Poley; and her sisters, Dorothy Arcement and Stella Yates. She is survived by children, Michael (Donna) Brandenberger, JoAnn (Wayne) Reaves, Janet (Jeffrey) Remlein and Robin (Ken) Schilling; her sister and brothers, Vera (Jerry) Taggart, Clarence Poley, Jr. and Richard (Janet) Poley; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Ken), Katie (Scot), Dustin, Michael, Bethany, Ryan and Bailey; and her great-grandchildren, Scot Jeffrey and Jenna.
Visitation will be 9AM to 11AM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Mainland Baptist Church, 512 S. Pitney Road, Galloway, NJ 08205. A service will immediately follow at 11AM. Burial will follow at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mainland Baptist Church at the above address.
