Flora Mastropietro

Flora Helen Mastropietro, 81, of the Silver Ridge Park section of Berkeley Twp., died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Wolfeboro, NH, she previously lived in Absecon and Vineland before moving to Silver Ridge Park 18 years ago. She worked as a sales clerk with Sears in Vineland for 15 years and last worked as an administrator with Oracare in Vineland for 5 years before retiring. She was very active with many community groups of Silver Ridge Park. She was also an avid reader of murder mysteries and enjoyed gardening. She also loved home decorating, spending time with friends and attended church regularly.

She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Mastropietro and her daughter, Marysue Bannister. She is survived by her children, William Mastro of Mississippi, Patricia DeRosa of Oceanport, NJ and Jennifer and her husband Mark Jaworski of Monmouth Beach, NJ; her grandchildren, Ari, Andrew, Michael, Christina, Nicholas, Joseph, Gregory, Robert, Jaqueline and Nick; and her companion, John Tully of Middletown.

Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will immediately follow at 1PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
