Florence Lorraine Moore

Florence Lorraine Moore (nee Higgins), of Ocean View and resident of the Ocean View Assisted Living Center, passed away October 18, 2013. She was born January 5, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA to Alfred and Annette Higgins. She was affectionately known as Lorraine and Nan. She worked in various hardware stores in the area as a sales associate and was well known for her customer service. Those stores included Gibson’s Hardware in Absecon and Shore Hardware in Somers Point.

She is survived by her grandsons, Larry Higgins and his wife, Traci and daughters, Roy Higgins and wife Tracy and son, Matthew Higgins and wife Gretchen and Ronald Higgins; her step-children, Vicki and her husband, Dean Somers, Steve Moore and his wife Bette, Linda Perkins and Richard Moore. Nan had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of them all.
