Francis Jones

Francis "Bucket" Jones, of Absecon, passed away on August 16, 2017. He was born in Absecon to the late James and Lillian Jones, and was a lifelong Absecon resident. Frank was a longtime member of the Methodist Church of Absecon, and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Frank was employed for 42 years until his retirement with Atlantic Electric. He is the beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Jones and is survived by his daughters, Bette Anne Strauss (Allen) and Sheree Enders (John); a sister Rita Harrison (late Harry) and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers James (Lorraine), William (Mary), Edward, Charles (Margaret) and Daniel (Betty). Visitation will be Monday from 10 AM at the United Methodist Church of Absecon, 100 Pitney Road, Absecon, NJ 08201, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11AM. Graveside service will follow at Methodist Church of Absecon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Methodist Church of Absecon at the above address.
