Francis Papa

Papa, Francis “Frank” – age 80, of Brigantine, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at home surrounded by his loved ones, after a short battle with lung cancer. Frank was born and raised in Camden, NJ and resided in Stratford, NJ before moving to Brigantine over 30 years ago, where the door was always open and the coffee always on for anyone who came by. Well known in Brigantine, Frank was also a lively contributor to local council meetings. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, and was a recognized master plumbing contractor; and former New Jersey State Plumbing Inspector.

Frank is survived by his loving wife Lynn (Yannarella) and his devoted daughter, Jennifer Vergata (Victor, Jr.), grand-dog Daisy “Doodle Bug”, his numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is loved and will be deeply missed by all is family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM, with a service to celebrate his life at 11:30am at the Community Presbyterian Church; 1501 West Brigantine Avenue, Brigantine, NJ 08203.
