Frank B. O'Dowd

O’Dowd, Frank B., 92, of Absecon, passed away August 7, 2024. Born at home in Pleasantville, he grew up there moving to Absecon after he married his late wife, Barbara O’Dowd (Nicholas). He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a cable splicer for many years with Atlantic City Electric before his retirement in 1993.

In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by is mother-in-law, Adelaide Nicholas. He’s survived by his daughter, Elizabeth O’Dowd; and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be 10AM to 11:30AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 11:30AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
