Frank Bruce

Frank P. Bruce Jr., 65, of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on June 8, 2012. Born and raised in Linwood, N.J., Frank graduated from Mainland High School, class of 1965. Soon after high school, Frank joined the Navy and proudly served for four years. Frank owned the wholesale seafood company, Frank’s Fish, for twenty years until its close in 2006. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and a lifetime member of the Port Republic Gunning Club. Frank spent a majority of his free time hunting and trapping; he was most at home alone in his tree stand, hunting with his friends, or enjoying a cup of coffee with his pals at Victor’s. Frank was also a life long antique bottle collector and dealer. Frank was an exceptional husband and father, and will be sorely missed for his generosity, humor, warmth of character and unforgettable stories.

Frank is predeceased by his father, Frank P. Bruce Sr. and mother, Jennie M. Bruce. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Bruce; his four children, Bonnie (Bob) Wolf and Kelly Bruce, Frank (Danielle) Bruce III and Brian Bruce; his brother, Rick Bruce; sisters, Jennifer Thomson and Joy Shaffer; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Rob, Samantha and Krista; his great-grandchild, Robbie; his cousins and many close and cherished friends.
