George Martin

George Martin, 83, of Laurens, SC, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his residence. Born in Marshalltown, IA, he was a resident of Beachwood in New Jersey until he moved to South Carolina. He was a 1955 graduate of Upper Township High School, East Moline, IL and graduated from St. Ambrose College, Davenport, IA in 1960. He was a veteran of the US Army.

George is predeceased by his wife, Patti Martin; his parents, Francis D. and Edith (Sheard) Martin; and his brother, David Randolph Martin. He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (Vikki) DeFilippo; three sons, Bruce Bone, John Martin, and David Martin; his grandchildren, Nicholas DeFilippo, Michael DeFilippo and Sarah Thomas; and his great-grandchildren, Elija and Jackson; as well as a host of other relatives.
