Gloria Theresa Scull

Gloria (Belisle) Scull passed away on Saturday, September 15th, surrounded by the love of her family following a long battle with cancer. Gloria was born in Corpus Christy, Texas on March 8, 1962 to the late Gloria (Berry) and Robert Belisle. She was a graduate of Marymount International School in Rome, Italy.

Gloria was married to the love of her life, Donald "Donny" Scull. Throughout their 19 year union, they shared a deep and abiding love with each other and with their three daughters, Rebecca, Jessica and Marissa. She also leaves her cherished sisters, Catherine and brother-in-law James Paul of Parkland, FL, her twin sister, Patricia Roswell and brother-in-law, Jeff of Absecon and her sister Irene of McLean, VA, her mother-in-law, Alberta Scull, Sisters-in-law, Donna Smith and Diane Dumont and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Donald Scull, Sr.

Prior to her illness, Gloria most recently worked at Smithville Elementary School.

Gloria touched so many lives and brought laughter and joy to all with her generous spirit. She faced her battle with cancer with unsurpassed strength and dignity. During her life, she embodied the quotation “Dance like no one is watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like no one is listening, Live like it’s heaven on earth.”

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon and on Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Avenue in Absecon from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral mass at 11a.m.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make a memorial donation to the Scull Family (please make check out to Donald Scull), to be placed in trust and used for her three daughters future education.
