Helen E. Nardi

Nardi, Helen E. (Graber), 88, of Absecon, passed away on July 12, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Home in Voorhees. Born in Atlantic City, she lived in Brigantine, Marlton and Haddon Heights before moving to Absecon. In 2016, she returned to Camden County to be closer to her family; eventually moving in with her son in Voorhees in 2020. Helen was a teacher and reading specialist, working at the Mary E. Volz Grammar School in Runnemede for over 30 years before her retirement. In her free time, she was a member of the Anglers Club in Margate and was a substitute teacher at Brigantine North School. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Absecon, where she was a member of the Catholic Daughter’s and the comfort ministry.

Helen is predeceased by her husband, Emil in 2013. She is survived by her sons, Emil P. Nardi (Marie), Paul J. Nardi (Sally Miller), Daniel W. Nardi and Russell E. Nardi (Sherin); her grandchildren, Christian Nardi (Lindsey), Shawn Nardi, Amy L. Nardi, Nicole Nardi, Danielle Wolfe (Sean), Russell J. Nardi and Vincent Nardi; she is also survived by her 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be offered at 11am Wednesday, July 20 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. Graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
