Helen M. Benevento

Helen Benevento, 78, of Egg Harbor City, passed away February 24, 2024. Born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, she found her life's love in Adolph Benevento, with whom she traveled extensively across the country before settling in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Helen was a cherished school-teacher in Absecon, NJ, remembered fondly by all who knew her.

In her leisure time, Helen enjoyed the company of her friends from the Red Hat Society and looked forward to evenings watching Jeopardy. She leaves behind a legacy of love, education, and cherished memories.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Jack Freeman; and her husband, Adolph Benevento. She is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey Klingenberg and Travis Benevento; daughter-in-law, Nicole Klingenberg; and her adored grandchildren, Kyra Erikson, Li Zapata, Zona Klingenberg, and Freya Klingenberg.
