Henry Bemsel

Henry G. Bemsel, 86, of Smithville, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Royal Suites Nursing Home. Born in Irvington, NJ, he lived in Short Hills for 26 years before moving to Smithville 14 years ago. He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II. He worked as an instructor for Keffel and Esser Engineering in Newark before retiring. His hobbies included hunting and photography. He was also a member of the Absecon VFW, Post #9462 and the Absecon American Legion, Post #28.

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Bemsel and his sister, Edna Kuhnen.

Visitation will be 11AM to 12PM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will immediately follow at 12PM at the funeral home.
