Hilda L. Jones

Jones, Hilda (Nicholson), 90, of Absecon, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018. She grew up in West Pittston PA where she met Griff Jones who was the love of her life. They moved to Absecon over 60 Years ago where they raised their Family. Hilda was a Legal Secretary for over 30 Years. She enjoyed many activities such as gardening, riding her bike, planning her annual backyard barbecue and cooking for many friends who would stop over at all times but her main goal in life was her family. Hilda could always be seen at every School Activity and never missed a Sporting Event to support her kids. Hilda is predeceased by her loving husband, Griff, of 33 Years who based his life around her as well as her oldest son, Griff Jr. who passed in 2013. Hilda will be greatly missed by her children – Kim (Mark), Steve (Sharon) and Kevin as well as her grandkids – Steven, Jenna, Nicholas, Meghan, Zachary, Kevin, Kyle and Courtney. A viewing will be 10AM to 11AM on Saturday January 13, 2018 at Parsels Funeral Home in Absecon, NJ. A service will follow at 11AM. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
