Jacqueline R. Myers

Jacqueline Rita Myers (Nee Hall), 89, of Absecon, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Our Lady’s Residence in Pleasantville. She was born and educated in Washington, DC, graduating from Holy Cross Academy in 1940. She married her husband, Joseph P. Myers, in Washington, DC, as well. She was employed by the US Navy prior to WW II and by the Air Force in Dallas, TX and Boca Raton, FL during WW II. Most recently, Jacqueline had worked for Spencer’s Gifts in Egg Harbor Twp., retiring in 1990.

Jacqueline passed away after a long illness and is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Myers; her children, Charles Myers of Jessup, MD, Cecile Lockhart of Palmdale, CA, Robert Myers of Oxnard, CA and James Myers of Cherry Hill, NJ; her 3 grandchildren, Carol & Sheila Myers and Mark Pedrick; and her 2 great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Quinn Pedrick

A memorial mass will be offered 11AM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. Burial will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ..
