James K. Champion

James K. Champion, ‘Pops’, 70, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away March 4, 2014 with his longtime companion, Wilhelmina Keyser, right by his side. He was an SP5 in the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a caring and generous man who fought to be with the ones he loved.

He is predeceased by his sisters, Doris Daisey and Helen Moore; his brother, Edward Champion; and his step-great-grandchildren, JaVanni and Ariana Jabier. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Scarlett and Margie Elliot, of Cape May Co.; his brother, Charles of Cape May Co. and George of Galloway, Daniel and John (Jack) of Egg Harbor Twp.; his children, Jeanette of NJ, James Jr. of MO. Jennifer of PA and Michael of CA; his step-children, Donna Jabier and Peggy, Ronald and Joanne Keyser, all of Egg Harbor Twp. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 9AM to 10:45AM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will follow at 11AM. Burial will be private. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
