James T. Brandt

Brandt, Sr., James T., 74, of Egg Harbor City, passed away December 29, 2017. Born in Pleasantville, he was raised there and lived there up until he moved to Egg Harbor City 3 years ago. James was a truck driver with Warren-Banko Distribution in Pleasantville for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #331 in Egg Harbor. He was an avid model train enthusiast and also enjoyed drag racing. His friends will remember him as a very generous person who would go out of his way to help them and others. He will be missed.

He is predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Helene Brandt. He is survived by a daughter and son, Donna S. Alpizar (David) and James T. Brandt, Jr. (Faith); his brother and sister, Richard Brandt (Donna) and Linda Ronketty; his grandchildren, Michael Alpizar, Samantha Brandt and Andrea Brandt; his nieces, Jill Brandt Vito and Tracey Titus Svihla; his nephews, Charlie Brandt and Brian Titus; as well as his cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be 10AM to 12PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 12PM. Burial will take place at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Twp. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
