Jean Springstead

Jean M. Springstead, 67, of Galloway, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013at her home with her family by her side. Born in Manchester, England, she lived in the Cape May County Area for many years before moving to Galloway almost 5 years ago. Mrs. Springstead was a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Goldberg’s office in Rio Grande for 20 years. When she moved to Galloway, she worked as a crossing guard for Absecon Police Department for several years. Her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles, gardening and song writing.

She is predeceased by her sister, Linden MacMahon. She is survived by her daughters, Lonnie M. Garretson of Galloway and Kim King of Hanover, PA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11AM to 12:30PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow immediately at 12:30PM.
