John J. Schmutz

John J. Schmutz, 84, of Absecon, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at his home. Born in Camden, he lived in Ventnor and Pomona before moving to Absecon 11 years ago. Mr. Schmutz was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the US Marines. During his career, he lastly worked for Trump Plaza and Casino, on the loading dock, retiring in 1997. John always enjoyed spending time at the casinos too. He especially enjoyed playing the Roulette table.

He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Connie Brotnitsky; and his sisters and brother, Anna Marie Schmutz, Joan Wells and Joseph Schmutz.
