Price, John M. 'Jack' 'Pop'- 86, of Pleasantville, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12th at home. John is predeceased by his beloved son, John H. Price, his brother, Edwin R. Price, sister, Peggy Speed and Parents Edwin and Betty Price.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane ( nee Hobart), the love of his life and best friend of 64 years, his devoted daughter, Carolyn 'Candy' Picorale, the best son-in-law ever, Michael John, his favorite granddaughter, Tiffany Jane Jeter (Alvah), only grandson, Jacob Picorale, great-granddaughters that always put a smile on his face & a twinkle in his blue eyes, Celeste and Amelle, his cat, KeeKee, his sister Dottie Hackney(Wayne), brother, Richard 'Dick' Price (Brenda) and many cousins, nieces, nephews. Special thanks to DeeDee, Debra, Butch, Courtney, Lonnie, Elvis & Fran.
John served in the US NAVY during the Korean War and his most significant assignment was aboard the USS Edisto AGB 2. He was partners for many years with his brother Ed at Price Brothers Antenna Service and worked with him until he retired. He was known as 'Tree Top Jack' for his love of climbing and trimming trees in the area. He was a man of few words, worked hard, loved steak and potatoes, Vic's subs and foreign cars, German Shepherds and kitty cats. Jack loved to travel, take long rides in the car, visiting the grandkids and eating out on Saturday nights.
