I met Jorge when he was a teen at Arc programs. Our paths continued to cross over the years. Jorge was the kid who made you think deeply about how you showed up for yourself and others. He was a talented song writer, poet and singer. He fiercely loved his people. He once drew a picture of me and he put l wrinkles around my mouth. I told him I wasn't that old, and he told me that was true that I just smile a lot. I think of him often and so grateful to have known him. May his family find peace in the memories and comfort from the love of family and friends.

I had the pleasure of teaching Jorge during his 4 years of high school. He was a handful at times but I would not have had him any other way. My heart hurts so much 💔😭. My sincerest condolences to his family 🙏

I remember having Jorge as a student At Pleasantville High School. He always greeted me with a smile. His spirit was calm. He took pride in working the cafe. My fondest memory was hearing all about his trip to Oregon. I still have the gift that he gave me and will cherish even more. RIP Jorge 🕊️

I had the pleasure of knowing Jorge for several years when he participated in activities at The Arc of Atlantic County. He was a respectful, happy and talented young man. I remember him playing the beat up electonic key board on Saturdays. I was so proud of the poem he wrote : "A Song for Autism" which was published in Pentimento Magazine The magazine is folded oipen to the page where his poem is and sits on a shelf near by my desk. The piano that he made from construction paper has not survied the years since he left. I feel blessed now to have run in to him on the AC Boardwalk in March 2020 where we caught up on things. I am so glad we hugged when we parted; never knowing it would be the last time i would see him. My condolances to his family. Kathi Lentz The Arc of Atlantic County

We Offer the Book of Memories™

Parsels Funeral Home offers what we consider to be the finest example of online memorials, the Book of Memories™. Created by an award-winning team of web developers and designers while being led by a funeral professional with over 25 years of experience, this online memorial is intended to provide your family with a permanent place to pay tribute to your loved one.

Far more than a traditional obituary—which is usually published only once and has no interactivity at all—the Book of Memories™ Memorial Website is a fully interactive archive of treasured photographs and stories remembered from their time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

You’ll be able to invite others to visit the online memorial, where they can upload images, share stories, write heart-felt messages of condolence, send a floral tribute to the funeral, or make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one. And the built-in social media integration means they can then “spread the word” about their addition to your loved one’s Book of Memories™ using Facebook and Twitter.

We offer the families we serve a Book of Memories™ memorial website with the intention that it gives you a measure of solace and comfort during the coming months. To arrange for a Book of Memories® memorial website for your loved one, contact us today.
