Joseph Charles

Charles, Jr., Joseph, 36, of Galloway, passed away November 20, 2017 at home. Born in Cape May Courthouse, he’s lived Brigantine, Egg Harbor Township and most of his life in Galloway Twp. He also lived a short time in New Mexico. Joe loved his family and treasured the time he was able to spend with them. He had a special place in his heart for his niece, Brianna. He loved baseball, a bond he and his dad shared. He was always texting and chatting with his dad about stats for players and teams. He was also an animal lover, especially fond of his cats. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and wiring, early on working at SoundWaves in Northfield where he was able to work on projects and help others, as well. Previously, he worked as an electrician and assisted with rewiring rooms in the Claridge Hotel as well as helping with the wiring the lighting at Brighton Park. Joe loved seeing his favorite bands in concert and attending Rainbow Gatherings. In his free time, he was still a cartoon lover. He enjoyed watching The Simpsons, Rick and Morty and Futurama. Joe often dreamed of living in Hawaii. He honeymooned there with his wife Allisyn and couldn’t wait to go back.

Joe is predeceased by his sister, Katy Charles. He is survived by his wife, Allisyn Taylor; his parents, Joseph (Joe) and Patricia (Pat) (Wheeler) Charles, Sr.; his niece Brianna Karrer; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be 2PM to 4:30PM on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 4:30PM. Cremation will be private.
