Joseph D. Fabrizio, 90, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Born in Amsterdam, NY, he lived in Brooklyn for many years before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1985. Mr. Fabrizio was a US Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a district supervisor for Kinney Parking Systems in New York, NY before his retirement in 1984. Mr. Fabrizio was a very handy man. He loved doing carpentry and working with mechanical things. He owned his own Sinclair Gas Station in Albertson, Long Island, NY where he enjoyed working on cars as well. He was a member of American Legion Post #1000.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Porretti) Fabrizio; his son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Nancy Fabrizio of Galloway, NJ; his sisters, Ann Mascari of Little Egg Harbor and Muriel Helper of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9AM to 11AM, Monday, April 9, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will immediately follow at 11AM. Burial will be at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1035 Hooper Ave., Suite 5, Toms River, NJ 08753.
